Saving Grace Music introduces Highest Frequency: The Electronic Beats Compendium. Collecting precious gems mined from the deepest recesses of the hearts and minds of an eclectic group of producers, here emerges the resulting compilation of musical treasures. As an overture to the forthcoming album, we proudly present a delicious and enticing taster of what is to come, with the Highest Frequency Prelude EP.
Highest Frequency is a selection of electronic music from independent and unknown artists who possess undeniable musical gifts. This project was born from a desire to stand as a platform for their music, and is dedicated to all creative people everywhere.
Rather than being a sonic extension of the album, the Prelude EP possesses it's own overall cohesive sound, offering a glimpse at some of the different musical moods of the artists. Huddersfield's Surreal kicks of the EP with his magnificently uplifting dubstep tempo cut, '528 Love', implementing the sacred solfeggio frequency, resonating on the deepest of levels. Arshaw continues proceedings with the inescapable groove of his funky house flavoured piece, 'This World' which is bound to set off any dancefloor on the receiving end of its drop. Sonically his sounds sits perfectly among the adept roster of Sheffield based 2019 Recordings, of which he is part. Next we shift to Hip Hop beats, with the bright and elegant soulful stylings of Atlas's 'For Love'. This one is a head nodder, with future beat aesthetics that wouldn't sound out of place on a Soulection release. Chicago based RasOm's 'Dusty Rhodes', is a track steeped in grainy textures, and with it's sampled blues guitar is reminiscent of west coast beatsmith DDay One's avant garde beats. 'Bathed In Dark Light' by Illumin is a deep, uk bass/grime composition, existing in a mysterious and darkly tribal dimension of sound, reverberating like an esoteric Joy Orbison. Liston from Leeds brings the melody and the beats with his house banger, 'Feel It', a masterfully executed diversion in style from his incredible Hip Hop beats. 'Gallery' by Huddersfield based veteran Hip Hop producer AyePee, brims with charm and sheer childlike delight. The warm groove of it's live instrument samples are a joy to listen to. Mexican born, Lancaster resident Orrest's 'Learning Mechanisms' is a stunning cinematic beat driven journey through a futuristic cityscape, evocative of IDM artists like Aphex Twin and Planet Mu's Remano Eszildn.
This project was born out of love for electronic music and the passion of the producers is audible. We hope you enjoy listening, thank you for resonating with us.
